If you are looking for a compassionate and supportive approach to therapy, you’ve come to the right place. My focus is on creating a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. Together, we’ll work to understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and navigate the challenges you face with care and insight.
I am a committed and dedicated person who feels privileged and honoured to work as a psychologist.
I completed my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth. During my internship year I was placed at the University Psychology Clinic where I provided play therapy, cognitive, behavioural and career assessments, and adolescent and adult individual therapy for six months. For the remainder of the year I worked at Hunterscraig Private Psychiatric Hospital gaining experience in individual and group adult therapy.
I have also worked at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital in the adult acute psychiatric ward.
I currently run a private practice in Ballito specialising in mental health care for children, adolescents and adults.
Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey. I believe the best approach depends on the unique personalities and needs of both the person seeking help and the therapist. That’s why I’m flexible in how I work, tailoring my approach to what feels right for you.
While I’m open to using a variety of therapeutic techniques, I typically lean toward a psychodynamic approach. This type of therapy helps us explore the deeper roots of longstanding patterns and behaviours, getting to the heart of the issues that may be holding you back.
Psychodynamic therapy often takes a little longer, but the results are worth it—fostering lasting change and meaningful personal growth.
No matter the approach, I’m here to provide a safe, supportive space for you to uncover insights, heal, and move forward in life.
